Tamiami Lanai Sunrooms & Patios was founded in 2020 by a team of South Florida contractors who saw how many homeowners in Tamiami were losing usable outdoor space to the heat and humidity. Screened porches sat empty from June through October. Patios flooded after afternoon storms. Homeowners wanted more from their backyards but had nowhere comfortable to go.
Since then, the company has grown by focusing on one thing: building sunrooms and patio enclosures that actually work in Miami-Dade County's climate. That means impact-rated glass, proper foundation drainage, and cooling systems sized for Florida summers - not adapted from designs built for cooler states.
The business is based right in Tamiami, off the Tamiami Trail, and serves homeowners across 12 communities in the western and southern Miami-Dade area. Every project is permitted through the county, managed by local crews, and backed by direct communication from the people doing the work.
